Fennel Season

On our San Francisco Food Tours, we're really big on seasonal foods. Right now, fennel is in season. Many people don't know much about fennel. It has a really great licorice flavor that is really nice in soups. It's also great grilled, with olive oil and parmesan cheese That's when it's fresh.
